How the Instagram audio downloader works
Paste the link of a public Reel or video and SLMtik extracts the sound track and converts it into an MP3 on our server. You download only the audio — a small file that plays in every music app, car stereo and editor. It is an Instagram MP3 downloader and an Instagram Reels audio downloader in one: the same steps work for a song, a voice-over or a sound effect.
Reels songs and original audio
The MP3 contains exactly what you hear in the Reel. If the creator talks over a song, you get both. To find a cleaner version of an Instagram song, tap the audio name at the bottom of the Reel: the audio page shows the original Reel that used the sound first, often with less talking. Copy that Reel's link and convert it here. Songs from Instagram's music library are licensed for use inside Instagram, so keep downloads of them for personal listening.
Audio quality
Instagram stores the sound of Reels as AAC at about 128 kbps. SLMtik converts it to MP3 at a matching quality, so the file stays small without losing more detail. If you need the untouched AAC stream for editing, the MP4 download contains it.
